THIS CRATE SAVED MY DOG FROM BEING RE-HOMED!!

I can’t begin to express my gratitude to K9 Kennel Boss enough. About a year ago, I brought my dog Luna home from the Shelter, thinking she’d be a great addition to the family after we had lost our other dog. But then I realized after a bit, that she had SEVERE separation anxiety, and the only way to save my house from being destroyed each time I had to leave was to crate train
her. Crate training was also necessary to address a plethora of other unexpected behavioral issues that she was not advertised as having, when surrendered to the shelter. During crate training, we hit another huge issue. She would break out of and destroy ANY crate we put her in. I even secured the crate with up to 78 zip ties, and 10 clips around the door, to avoid her getting out. SHE STILL ESCAPED … and pushed to the point that she was injured.

With this being my last resort, I was about to surrender her to a local rescue or bring her back to the shelter I got her from. But the owner of the rescue I was talking to, decided to help me, and let me borrow one of her “high anxiety crates”, which happened to be a K9 Kennel Boss. I had never heard of this brand before, and it almost perfectly matched a similar brand/concept
of “high anxiety crates” that I had seen advertised online, “Impact Crates”. I had looked into purchasing one of those crates after seeing the ads on social media but couldn’t afford it. However, these crates were HALF the price. So, I decided to give it a try!

IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The quality is outstanding, and she didn’t escape once! After a few months of borrowing the crate, I purchased my own. Almost 9 months later, it’s still effective and looks brand new! It is SO easy to clean, which really helps with the smell, and I was even able to order a crate topper from amazon to put on top of it and use it like a side table to make it a bit more aesthetically pleasing in my living room. The consistent crate
training has almost completely eliminated her separation anxiety. She even goes to her crate now when she’s nervous and wants to feel safe and secure! This crate was truly the game changer and the variable between whether this dog stayed in our home or went back to the shelter!

My only suggestion where there may be room for improvement is the "Primo" pads that come with it. While they ARE better than other pads we’ve tried and lasted a bit longer than the other ones; they are not nearly as “indestructible” or resistant to the damage that usually is caused by a high anxiety dog. My dog has ruined / torn through 2 separate pads. We still have the 2nd torn
one, but I’m now able to cover the torn spot with a pillow (thankfully her anxiety has calmed enough that I don’t think she will ruin it further at this point, and we can now put bedding in the crate with her without worries)… so the pad is still effective in the crate, so long as I keep a pillow in there as well to cover the damaged area. However, it’s something to keep in mind… if you truly have a dog with extreme anxiety, I’d skip wasting money on the pad and get some sort of thick rubber padding like you’d put at the
bottom of a horse stall instead.

At the end of the day, I’d say 100%, GET THIS CRATE… I truly believe it’s better than the competition and offers more solutions for less money (I love that it can collapse for easy transport, but that they also have a solution to make it as secure as one that wouldn’t –eliminating the need to buy 2 separate crates!)

I have ordered a large number of K9 Kennel Boss Collapsible kennels with very nice results. I have a dog training business in Texas and found the company after using another company that was WAY out of my price range for collapsible kennels. The first kennels I received from K9 Kennel Boss were packaged EXTREMELY well and were actually “OVER PROTECTED” to make sure they arrived without any dents or damages.

K9 Kennel Boss kennels are structurally sound and made of industrial materials. To date, I have not had one dog that has been able to damage or escape from one of these kennels and I have trained a number of Houdini’s! Their latches and kennel structural supports are all incredibly well made and strong and have yet to fail after use by hundreds of dogs over the years. Their powder coating has endured heavy duty power washing with ZERO paint failures to date.

The absolute best part about this company, other than their products, is their customer service. NO AUTOMATED RESPONSES OR ENDLESS LOOPS!!!!! You call the company and get connected to a HUMAN! They quickly work to help you out with orders or issues and usually have a solution that phone call. They are personable and have never been rude on any call or with any concern. They actually listen and do take input into their products into consideration.

All in all, these kennels are some of the best out there without having to refinance your home or sell organs on the black market! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company and their kennels.

If you need a crate that’s easy to pack up and go look no further. You’re on the right site! Super easy to assemble and disassemble and fits in the back of your car. Works for both on the go or a home setup. We have the tan color in size Large! Suits my German Shepherd Female perfectly.

Honestly these pads are awesome they fit nice tight and flat to the bottom of the crate. The cushioned top is made of very durable material. My dogs love them!!!

It took me a while to pull the trigger on this due to the price, but it’s so worth it! My Frenchie has severe separation anxiety and was making a huge mess of my house. We had a cheap wire kennel and she was hurting herself trying to get out. She seems perfectly happy in this kennel and even goes it on her own to rest sometimes!

Mine is to transport our narcotics shepherd 8 to 10 hours a day. It’s great!!! Easy to clean, light enough I can move the large by myself and plenty of room for the dog. Lots of ventalation and the dog has good visibility which is reducing her anxiety compared to another brand we used. Will buy again for our home and for our personal vehicle

Super easy assembly. Solid construction. Bought two more. Would recommend this product to anyone.

I needed a crate solution that I can stow away when not in use easily, and this delivered. Appears reasonably well made although the fittings could be a weak link over time as the pins of the clamps don't seem very heavy duty. I don't use the added security nuts related to convenience in stowing away so it's a little rattly when my dog changes positions. The door and latch work smoothly. Packing for shipping was mediocre as the UPS teamsters managed to deliver it with a big dent right over the center badge, but it doesn't affect function. Be aware this is 40 ish pounds in size medium so not a lightweight solution if you need to move it a lot. Watch any of the videos out there about setup and take down as the printed instructions aren't intuitive and the first few uses were for me quite the wrestling match. I think it's the best choice among the options out there and it can contain my Malinois so far.

My dog is a shredder! This pad is comphy and indestructible ! It gives my dog soft spot to rest.

Im very happy with this product. It is very lightweight and has a fairly easy set up to unfold it. The primo pad fits perfectly and is easy to clean. The rigging works well the installation of the back wall requires two people so everyone is aware. Overall this is a solid product and I can tell it will withstand my large breed bullmastiff as he grows. One other thing I would want customers to be aware of. If you have a puppy in his first month away from the mother. He was able to get his lower jaw stuck in the door grating. It was a little scare that I had to carefully open the door and get him off without breaking his teeth. Now that he has grown slightly he can't do it anymore and most likely scared him enough to never try again. But he is a very smart breed at a young age. Just be aware and be careful with your young pups. Thank you Kennel boss for providing fast shipping aswell.

Great crate so far! Escape artist dog has not broke out of this one yet. Heavy, but what else do you expect. Haven't tried folding it back up to use for travel yet.

I recently purchased a dog crate and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with both the product and the customer service provided by the company. Prior to making my purchase, I had a few questions and the customer service team went above and beyond to answer them promptly and thoroughly. It was a refreshing experience to actually speak with a knowledgeable person on the phone who was able to address all my concerns.

My small lab mix used to hate being alone or away from people until we got him this crate. He now enjoys the comfort of his own space even being in it while we are home with door open. I will be getting one for my German shepherd as well!
