I have a severely anxious separation dog, most kennels didn’t keep her in or were ruining her teeth. This is absolutely safe and perfect!
We just used our collapsible crate for the first time on a trip. We have a Weimaraner and she did great in it. We felt it was study and not something she could get out of. She has been an escape artist when younger. She relaxed easily and seemed comfortable. She is a bigger dog at 70lbs so we got the larger size. It is challenging for one person to get it up out of the folded position to assemble with the larger size but other than that, it is easy to carry, portable.”, sturdy and strong and has been worth the investment! .
Our K9 Kennel Boss finally arrived and the only one more excited than we were was our Husky. He has been in many other crates throughout his life but took to the new K9 Kennel Boss faster and with more comfort than any other. He is 70 lbs. and the Large is a perfect fit for him.
For us humans, the crate is made exceptionally well. All of the pieces glide smoothly and attach firmly. It's lighter than expected, too. The knurled bolts are a genius addition to this style of crate and add a level of stability and strength that puts it well above other collapsible crates.
I've already recommended it to many others. We're planning on getting a second soon!
Not difficult to set up and seems pretty solid. Compared to a few other brands, I like the addition to the thumb screws and the bars on the door.
I bought this kennel during the 4th sale and let me say it’s the best kennel my Xena has ever had! We’ve tried the wire & plastic kennels before and let’s just say they didn’t stand to the test. She tore the tray of the wire kennel within a few months of having it… Which left her laying on the hard uneven metal poles. And she somehow managed to escape her plastic “airline approved” kennel over and over again.. Now with our K9 Kennel Boss Kennel I don’t have to worry about finding her on the couch when I remember putting her in the bedroom! I have piece of mind that she can’t get into anything and is safe! And let me say she absolutely LOVES this kennel! I find her in it randomly throughout the day taking naps🥰. If you’re thinking about buying this kennel… do it! 👍🏾
