Crate size selection should be based on a dog's height and length, and the primary use for the crate. You will want to ensure that the dog has enough space to comfortably sit, stand, lay down, and turn around in the crate.
For transport purposes, people often seek a more snug fit with their crate. However, if the crate’s primary use is to contain the dog for longer periods of time, most will opt for a slightly larger kennel.

Our crates ship fully assembled in the collapsed position. You can optionally install the knurled bolts for additional rigidity and strength with no tools required.
Based on the size of your vehicle's cargo area, use the height, width, and depth of the crate (when assembled) to determine whether the crate will fit in your cargo area.
Most vehicles have D-rings or attachment points available for use in the cargo area. Please use a ratchet or tie-down straps to secure the crate through the handles on top of the crate. You may also be interested in our optional tie-down kit here.
Remove debris from the crate. Vacuum or sweep the inside of the crate using a plastic brush. If desired, wash the crate with soapy water and a sponge, then rinse with clean water. Do not use abrasives or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the powder coat or be toxic to your beloved pets.

No, we do not cover dog damage to our crates. While our crates are built tough and include additional features like our knurled bolts, we do not recommend collapsible style crates for high-anxiety dogs or dogs with a history of crate destruction.
K9 Kennel Boss stands by the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Therefore, we offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on K9 Kennel Boss crates to the original owner, with proof of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and any failure of moving parts under normal use.
We pledge to repair or replace (at our discretion) any product or component that is defective in material or workmanship for as long as you own your crate. If you find your product to be defective, please contact our Customer Service Department at (800) 589-7990 (9am-5pm PST) and we will assist you in the next steps of processing your warranty claim.
The Limited Lifetime Warranty excludes deliberate or accidental damage and does not extend to misuse, finishes, or dog damage.
FedEx ground shipping (or USPS for smaller accessories) is included in the price of all products listed on our website. We strive to ship all orders on the same or next business day after they are placed, however, during busy periods, such as after major holidays, we might need an extra day to process and ship your order. All orders ship from our Washington state warehouse and transit time will be dependent on your ship-to location. You will receive an automated email with your tracking information as soon as the item has been scanned by the carrier.
For expedited shipping options or shipping options outside of the continental US (including APO addresses) please contact us prior to placing your order.
Our excellent packaging and shipping practices minimize the chances of damage. However, if your merchandise does arrive damaged, please contact us as soon as possible to report the issue and we will advise you on the next steps to resolve it. Be sure to have photos of any damage to both the product packaging and the product itself. All damage must be reported within five days of delivery to be eligible for return or exchange.
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you are unsatisfied with your K9 Kennel Boss purchase for any reason, you many return it at your expense within 15 days of receiving the order.

All refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used for purchase and are subject to a 15% restocking fee. The restocking fee is waived for product exchanges.
